Welcome Back!

Last night, Halsey dropped two songs, one of which had our own Min Yoongi on the track. Yoongi co-produced and wrote the korean lyrics for "SUGA's Interlude" and can I just say, its went beyond my expectations. I didn't realize how much I needed this song until it came out. It was a song that was released at the perfect time. I can't even explain how much I love this song, I had it on repeat all day long and I have no plans on stopping. I feel like Halsey's voice and Yoongi's voices meshed really nice and it has such a soothing sound to it, it was real calming. 

When asked why she decided to put Yoongi on this track, Halsey said that he really fit the vibe of her album and really loved his solo music. She was honored to have him on this track as a friend and person she really likes. I mean if this is what the overall vibe of her album is about to be, I might have to check it out for myself when it comes out. 

Some of my favorite lines from the song have to be:

"The dawn before sunrise is darker than anything
But never forget the stars you hope for only appear in the dark"

The lyrics were so deep overall and the first time hearing it, I was in such awe and just fell in love with the voices. I felt like everything around me had came to a stop and it was just me and this song. Absolutely loved it the first time around but after reading the translations and understanding the song fully, I loved it even more, if that was even possible. A song I could listen to when things weren't going well. 

Yoongi has such a way in making you feel things you thought you couldn't and it just hits everytime. I'm so proud of how far he has come. Thank you Yoongi for sharing such a personal, hard hitting song and thank you to Halsey for having him have a part on her new upcoming album.

I'm absolutely in love with the song and if his upcoming mixtape is anything like this, I will literally scream. I'm so excited for it you guys have no idea. Jingle Ball is tonight at 10PM EST (12PM KST, 7PM PST) and I'm really excited because not only will BTS be there but so will Halsey which means there could be a possible collab, ahhh.
