MAMA 2019

Welcome Back!
Yesterday was the MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) 2019 and I just want to say once again they absolutely killed it. They had several stages again and brought back older songs which I absolutely loved. To me, compared to MMA's, MAMA was a little more intense atleast choreo wise but overall had a more relax feel to it. I don't know if that makes sense but they definitely went hard and I loved their performance just as much as MMA. Also once again BTS has gotten an all-kill taking home 9 awards, 4 of which were daesangs. This brings their total to 8 daesangs and that too under a week. BTS is the first artist ever to have an all-kill at both MMA and MAMA, two of the biggest end of year award shows. I'm so proud of them!

Now for the performance

BTS - N.O
Ever since MMA, I been wanting them to perform N.O because let's be honest that song just hits differently. I absolutely love their older songs and I loved to see that they performed this song in front of such a big crowd. I mean in a sense they were bringing forward all of their older songs that at the time didn't get the recognition that it deserved and I'm really happy that now they are able to show everyone all their previous songs. It's amazing seeing how far they have come.
BTS - We are Bulletproof Pt. 2
Okay, if you know me, you already know how much I LOVE this song. One of my absolute favorites. An intense choreo, rapper jungkook, THE dance break. Oh my god, I could talk about this song forever. Not going to lie but I was kind of surprised when they performed it just because its been a while since they have but I was so happy that they did. Everyone deserves to see this masterpiece of a performance. Rapper Jungkook is my favorite and can we just take a moment to talk about the dance break. We are Bulletproof remains to have one of the best dance breaks and i'm always in awe of it. The way Hoseok trusts Jimin to jump over him like that and then the hat trick like ahh, its so captivating to watch and you're in awe whether you are a fan or not. LOVED LOVED this performance and would love to see it again in the future.
BTS - Boy With Luv/Mikrokosmos
This performance is what I meant when I said their performance has a relax feel to it. Unlike MMA where they were all dressed up in Boy with Luv, this one they were all wearing comfortable clothes and just enjoying themselves on stage. There were a lot of cute moments during both performances and I really enjoyed watching it. They're so comfortable on stage now and I really love seeing that, they totally own the stage no matter what performance they are giving, an intense or a more relax one like this one. It was overall a cute performance and very relaxed.
BTS - Dionysus
Yet again, another wonderful performance by BTS. Dionysus was one of my favorite from this album just because how intense it was as a song and the choreo is something else. They definitely didn't disappoint with this performance. Unlike MMA, there was no dance break in this but that's probably because they already did one dance break. Regardless of that, this performance was a great way to end the show.

Highlights from MAMA
I really enjoyed MAMA's performances. There were many great performances from the likes of ATEEZ, GOT7, WAYV, TWICE, MONSTA X, and many more. Dua Lipa was also present and can I just say Hwasa killed it with her like wow. ATEEZ performed Wonderland and they also performed BST in front of BTS, like wow I can only imagine how that must have felt. They absolutely killed it. GOT7, another one of my favorite groups, did a wonderful job as well. MAMA was actually really nice and they did not disappoint this year.

MAMA was wonderful and I loved it. Jingle Ball is tomorrow and I'm so excited to see what they have in store this time around. I really hope they do similar performances as they did in MMA and MAMA so everyone can see the talent they have.
