JTBC False Accusations

Yesterday, BigHit released a long statement regarding a rumor JTBC had made against BTS. On December 9, JTBC on their program, "Newsroom" announced that BTS had reportedly filed a lawsuit against their company, BigHit Entertainment, on profit divisions. However, on Decemeber 10, BigHit quickly denied this claim and stated that they have always encouraged BTS and their family members to seek advice from external sources. 

         

However, BigHit also said that after seeing the report they talked to BTS and their family members to make sure that the report was in fact incorrect and they all agreed on this. Additionally, they said that they acknowledge disagreements can occur at any time and take proper actions to make sure everyone is satisfied. 

Not only did JTBC make a false accusation, or a groundless accusation stated by BigHit, they also barged into restricted areas of their building and took unauthorized videos for their report in which they also showed BTS's trophy room.  Even though BTS could potentially sue the company on this matter all they ask is for an apology. However, JTBC has yet to give an apology and it has been over more than 24 hours since the release of the statement.

Honestly speaking, I think they really should sue the company because they violated a lot of their rights and made false accusations and put a bad name to them. They could of easily gotten away with this but they had to make a report and put all their bad actions out there making their company look bad now. However, I am really proud of BigHit and how they handled this situation, they were quick to respond and confirmed with the members and their families, as they should. Hope this taught them their lesson and nothing like this happens again.
